AIM Electronic Music Festival Back in July

AIM festival. AIM festival.

For those who like their electronic music with a side of camping, AIM (Art Innovation Music) is exactly what you’re looking for. Three days with 32 hours of non stop music, takes over Parc Carillon, about 50 minutes outside of Montreal by car. 32 hours of non-stop music? There’s a small prequel on July 14th from 3 p.m. to 1 a.m. and then the 32 hour schedule from July 15th at 10 a.m. continues until July 16th at 6 p.m.

While the music schedule isn’t yet set, some of the international names performing include Henrik Schwarz, Ame, Guy J, Dennis Ferrer, Lee Foss, Nic Fanciulli, Mark Sixma, Tiefschwarz, and Will Atkinson. Locals are on-call too with Debbie Doe, Jojo Flores, Ludo, Nic Falardeau, and Solid Stone.

Four stages are set up to present over 50 different DJs and live groups.

The festival is more than music — art, food, dance, visuals, interactive events, digital technology. Perhaps a mini-but-mellow-Tomorrowland is the best way to describe it.

For those who don’t want to drive (or can’t, or won’t, or shouldn’t), a shuttle bus is available from Montreal as well as from Laval. Tickets HERE.

All things considered, the cost for three days is within the reach of most. A weekend pass is just $109 and camping is $40 for the weekend. Tickets HERE.
