December Festivals and Events in Montreal 2018

Ok, people, what’s up with winter? It showed up early and started eating all the good hors d’oeuvres, hogging the remote, and taking up the whole couch. Not cool, old man winter. As the year comes to a close, I have yet to see the line get shorter outside the new legal cannabis store. Has anyone actually from Montreal gone yet or is this just tourists? Construction frustration hits record levels because in addition to dodging snow cleaning trucks, we now need to dodge construction trucks that drive with the same regard for people. Canada Post offers yet another inconvenient strike, ensuring that Amazon will be using FedEx this holiday season instead. But at least we can look forward to Verdun’s long-overdue beach next summer. It’s not the Cayman Islands, but it’ll due in a pinch.
