No pictures or videos can do it justice, but you could get a glimpse of what to expect when heading to Ottawa here

Once the show starts with the parliament clock falling down and breaking into pieces, as if to symbolize the moment the time froze and reversed its course to give the viewer a glimpse of history in such an engaging and touching way, and until the end of the show the viewer simply cannot look away. Most come back a second and third time to see it again and share it with friends and family.

If you have seen the opening ceremony of winter Olympics in Sochi then you have a pretty good idea as to what to expect from this light show. One side effect to be aware of are chills that will run down your skin every time a new time slice of Canadian history appears on the parliament’s walls after a short moment of silence.
This show offers it all, from the art of natives and the formation of the Canadian railroad to the moment when the whole building dances to the music through a delicate play of light and shadow.

Ottawa is truly a festive city and a wide variety of shows goes on all year round. Mosaica Light and Sound Show is a must see on your summer to do list. The show is suitable for all audiences; however some kids were slightly spooked yet excited when windows and other parts of the parliament building started shifting. This part of the show as if transports you into the wicked forest where the witch makes the castle dance its dance in the moon light.
