The Montreal Electric Groove festival (MEG) is back again with four nights of electronic dance music. Many of the performers come from Montreal, and a few are journeying from France and Japan to help the city discover its beat. This year in particular, there will be a focus on hip hop at Divan Orange with Bad Nyon, Rangers, KillASon, ILLvibe, and Myer Clarity.
August 31 brings Afrikana Soul Sister, L. Teez, and Guts. September 1 is not only a night of hip hop, but catch Ghostly Kisses, Rei Brown, CRi, and Brtrnd project at the Fairmount. On September 2, Montreal will present the first ever North American Electro Parade. At night, there are pairings of visual artists with sound artists. September 3 has Clément Bazin, Douchka, Robert Robert, and Ryan Playground at Newspeak.
MEG takes place August 31 to September 3. Tickets to MEG are on sale now. A festival pass is just $55. For more details, click HERE.
