Overview: 45th Edition of Festival du nouveau cinéma

Festival du nouveau cinema

Festival du nouveau cinéma (FNC) celebrates its 45th anniversary with independent films from around the world until October 16, 2016.

This year, the FNC presents a new section known as FNC eXPlore, which is made up of interactive, virtual reality works and installations exhibited along downtown walking tours. Open to the public and free, it includes 18 virtual reality works, two interactive and immersive films, and two installations of interactive films.

Deceased director Sólveig Anspach brought the characters from her film Queen of Montreuil back to the screen in this dramatic comedy.

Though who is Sook-Hee, really, and what plans does she have in mind for Hideko? This sensual thriller drama from director Park Chan-Wook who gave us Oldboy and Thirst was acclaimed during its premiere at the Cannes Film Festival.
