Julie Favreau spent the last two years as the Claudine and Stephen Bronfman Fellow in Contemporary Art at Concordia University. To mark the end of her fellowship, FOFA Gallery held a finissage featuring a “processional installation” that includes her videos, sculptures, performance and installation pieces. The work exhibition is entitled an entire day an entire month a title taken from Jón Kalman Stefánsson’s novel Heaven and Hell (2010). The minimalist works with large white planes and focus on small gesture allows for reflection. Fernando Landin captured the opening of the finissage with his camera.

Julie Favreau’s another day another month is on display at the FOFA gallery (1515 St. Catherine W.) until May 16.
