Art Souterrain invites you to this free 5 @ 7 (or 6 @ 9) to listen to music, watch performances and preview artwork from their 2016 program. Performances begin at 7PM and include Chun Hua Catherine Dong and Hugues Clement, as well as music by Pierre Villepelet.

Even though Valentine’s day is in the past, it doesn’t mean it’s too late for this vernissage from Espace Scuderi. Check out their exhibit of erotic art, featuring works by Ania Jarda, Andy Jean and others. Admission is $10.

Friday Nocturnes at the MAC, event

Ninth Floor, screening

ACSioN Concordia and Cinema Politica present the documentary film “Ninth Floor”, directed by Mina Shun about the 1969 incident at Concordia’s Sir George Williams campus that led to the 2-week-long sit-in at its computer centre. Shun looks back at this event, sparked by the controversy behind the unequal treatment of six black students by biology professor Perry Anderson. Doors open at 6 PM, and the film starts at 7. Not to miss!

Iris, vernissage

Iris features works by artists PLO and Audrey-Ann Pigeon. A mix of photography and painting, this exhibit celebrates the launch of Iris, La rencontre d’un regard, a book written by Guilhem Gosselin. The exhibit is on until March 8.
