A group show featuring 16 artists working across many disciplines. What brings them together? The miniature: their works are not allowed to exceed 14″ in size. The exhibit runs from November 18 to 29.

Buy Art & L’art est-il devenu sans importance?, double vernissage

Diagonale is displaying not one, but two exhibits starting November 20! The first, Buy Art, is a fundraising exhibit. Art donated by 25 artists will be on sale, with part of the proceeds going towards the centre’s development. You can check out the catalogue here. The second exhibit, L’art est-il devenu sans importance? (Has art become irrelevant?), features work by conceptual artist Steve Giasson, curated by Chloé Grondeau. This will be presented in the gallery’s vitrine, part of their new window project.

Centre Phi, November 21 to December 12

Photographer John Londono, in collaboration with M for Montreal and the Phi Centre bring you backstage with Snapshot Sessions. This exhibit of Londono’s photo sessions with musical artists passing through Montreal runs from November 21 to December 12, and, unlike concerts, it’s free admission.

You have a few more days to check out Sebastien Lafleur’s solo exhibit. The multidisciplinary artist works in painting, drawing, sculpture and video, exploring movement, mutation and hybridization. Don’t miss it!
