TO DO Tonight: Autobahn at Cafe Resonance

This Toronto improvisational jazz group without a bassist seems to be a little low-key, but don’t be fooled. Autobahn, consisting of Jeff LaRochelle (sax/clarinet), James Hill (piano), and Ian Wright (drums), have played at international jazz festivals and are just off their residency at the Banff Centre. Now they’re in the Resonance Cafe — an intimate place to catch their free-form and unexpected style as they tour their new CD, The River. If you miss them at Cafe Resonance, apparently, they’re playing at McGill on March 17 and 18 too.
