Some contests let you win a pair of tickets or a t-shirt or an album. Why enter those measly contests when you can win a whole Dead Messenger prize pack?
Montreal power pop band Dead Messenger is known for having high energy live shows and for their super infectious tunes with a garage rock sensibility that ranges from punk to solid hook-laden rock.
The band is about to release its new album The Owl in Daylight on May 27.The album is so DYI that the band silk screened the records themselves. Collaborators and performers on the album are a veritable who’s who of great Canadian performers, from Aaron Holmberg (The Tragically Hip/The Sadies) to Timothy Hertzog (God Speed! You Black Emperor).
