We love giving away free tickets, and our friends at Indie Montreal have another much-sought after pair of tickets to see Tokyo Police Club and Said the Whale on November 27 at the Corona Theatre (8 p.m.) for one lucky reader! And, yes, that reader can be YOU but you have to enter the giveaway to win.

To win tickets, enter by telling us something you can eat in Tokyo in the comments section below or email us your answer at [email protected]. We’ll choose a winner at random from all entries on November 26 at noon and notify the winner by email.

If you’ve ever read a comic book, watched a science fiction movie, played freeze tag, or undertaken a top-secret intergalactic space mission, then you know all about the value of a good force field. Tokyo Police Club surely do, and in the four years since the band’s last album, our brave heroes from Toronto spent several long winters and many manic nights in their own fortress of solitude, learning to deflect that which would do them harm or lead them astray and to respect and to trust those they knew best: each other.

Last year, we got to speak to Said the Whale about their album hawaiii (yes, the three i’s are deliberate).

Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received. One entry per person per email address per Contest Part during the Contest Period. Winner must name something you can eat in Tokyo. Contest starts November 24, 2014 and ends November 26, 2014 at noon. Winners will be selected on November 26, 2014 in Montreal, Quebec at noon and notified by email. There is one (1) prize available to be won, consisting of one (1) pair of tickets for the Tokyo Police Club/Said the Whale Show delivered by indie montreal. 

FOR RESIDENTS OF QUEBEC. Any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.
