TO DO Tonight: For Body and Light Coming and Going Launch

The Words and Music show launches the show/book Coming and Going by Ian Ferrier today. In addition to excerpts from the book, there will be a film screening of a NY-based filmmaker Ben Richards’ film, storytelling by monologist (that’s someone who tells monlogues) John Arthur Sweet and music by Isis Giraldo (Isis Giraldo Poetry Project)  This is the start of an 11-week tour across Canada for Ferrier, who is the spoken-word part of the For Body and Light dance collective. He works with Stephanie Morin Robert, the director and choreographer of the group.  The show tonight will likely include Ferrier, Morin-Robert, Linnea Gwiazda, and Allison Burns as well.

The show tonight takes place at Casa del Popolo at 8:30 p.m.
