Eye to I : Tulips

Eye to I. Jessica Blair

Tulips are a sign of spring and although they are stunning to see as they make their way into full bloom, my favorite way to look at them is after they are cut. They continue to grow and it is then that their beautiful arabesques take place. Their petals thin and curl into unusual shapes; their stems become three-dimensional line drawings. I am enchanted by their beautiful dance. A metamorphosis of line and colour for their finale.
