Photojournal of Igloofest February 1 2015: Dancing Warm with the Canadian DJs
Even with Superbowl Sunday and temperatures hitting -20, the party raged at Igloofest. The lineup featured all Canadian artists, starting off with fellow Montrealer, J.u.D.
Toronto’s Keys ‘n Krates were next with a fantastic live performance. For those who are unaware, Keys ‘n Krates are one of few electronic artists who perform completely live, using drums, keys, turntables and live sampling. Playing songs off their latest EP Every Nite, the vibes at Jacques Cartier Quay were unreal.
To end the evening, Montreal born, Tiga hit the stage opening with his distinctive, new track “Bugatti”. Despite the cold, Tiga’s music kept the crowd dancing all night long.
With the third weekend of Igloofest now over, if you have yet to partake in the Igloofest experience, next weekend is your last chance. With headliners such as Dubfire, Paco Osuna, and Luciano, it is definitely something you do not want to miss!
