Don’t be fooled by the naughty names, roller derby is as tough and athletic as a rugby match. Montreal’s beloved team, Les Sexpos take on the Quebec City all-star travel team, Les Duchessés de Québec. Les Sexpos put on a strong show every time they’re in the rink and they will elbow and hip-check their way through the whole match. Cheap Pabst Blue Ribbon make it clear that there’s a hipster cache to these events, but don’t let that stop you even if you don’t go in for oversized glasses, beards, and your grandmother’s dresses.

Les Montréal Sexpos take on Les Duchesses de Québec on April 4 at Taz Skatepark (8931 Papineau). 7:15 p.m. Tickets $10 presale/$15 at door. $5 for 6-12 year olds, and free for the under 6s.
