MTL à TABLE is Back with a Brunch Menu
Known as Montreal’s restaurant week, MTL à TABLE is an invitation to Montrealers and tourists to discover various restaurants. For 11 days, over 150 restaurants offer a table d’hôte menu at fixed prices of $21, $31 and $41.
Patrizia Dri, Director – Media, Leisure Market at Tourisme Montréal, explains how MTL à TABLE is an initiative of Tourisme Montréal who wanted to democratize the city’s gastronomy and create a celebration around the culinary delights. “MTL à TABLE aims to put forward the uniqueness and diversity that characterizes Montreal’s cuisine and to increase traffic to restaurants during the month of November,” she says. The event has now become a must among restaurateurs.
Added to this year’s edition is a brunch menu at the fixed price of $21, which will delight brunch lovers. “Brunch is a cherished tradition in Quebecers’ heart who enjoy getting together amongst family and friends on Sundays to exchange around the pleasures of the tables,” explains Bri about the addition of the brunch menu.
The popularity of MTL à TABLE is mainly due to its fixed menu prices where you get to try a restaurant, which might not be as affordable, at an affordable price. The first edition had only 100 participating restaurants and it has increased over the years bringing the number to 150 at this fourth edition. Restaurants get to test new menus during the event.
You can also participate in a culinary tour with VDM Global at the final price of $39. There are four circuits led by knowledgeable guides for a 5 à 7 tour in the following neighbourhoods: Old Montréal, Mile-End, Little Burgundy/Saint-Henri and Golden Square Mile.
Foodies can share their experience on social media with the #MTLàTABLE.
