Photojournal: Mademoiselle Opens with a Smoking Party

The Mademoiselle Opening was a rocking good time. With tats, nail polish, and plenty of patches, an alternative crowd filled the place. With the retro and dance tunes of The Continentals, people were dancing on the tiny floor all night. A gogo dancer raised the bar on the moves. Before my camera went kaput, I caught the ever creative Lady Josephine in a flamenco styled act to the live band as well as a beautiful tribute to the bar’s new proprietress by her daughter. The entire team was called to the stage and then the party resumed. Even a local from the Hasidic community (presumably) came to check things out.
