Playwriting Marathon
Ever want to write the next great Canadian play? Or just anything at all. Off-Stage Concordia is hosting a 32-hour playwriting bake-off event on March 20 – 21, with the eventual goal of having a live reading of completed scripts on March 27. To get involved, check the facebook page HERE.
Live Streaming Music and Arts
The Diving Bell Social Club isn’t going to sit this out without sharing something wonderful. A live-streamed fundraiser to provide relief for artists takes place March 21 at 6 p.m. – 11 p.m.. The first Stay Home Session will have live streamed performances from Hanorah, Janette King, Maryze, LAPS, and plenty of others, along with special guest Tranna Wintour. Montreal Symphony Orchestra
If you the concerts of Place des Arts and the feeling of a great orchestra, we’re lucky that the Montreal Symphony Orchestra is sharing some of its recordings. Watch HERE.
Hoop
If you’ve got a hula hoop and want to shake what your mamma gave you while working your core, Hoop Montreal is offering free half hour classes on its facebook page every day at 6:30. Check it out HERE.

Train with Dave
If you’ve never had a personal trainer, there’s no better time to start with one than right now. Dave Morrow is offering hour long training sessions for everyone at home from his youtube channel from 7 a.m. – 8 a.m. (You can always watch the stream after the fact). Love to sweat and burn? Got a bike (presumably one in trainers or a stationary kind). Cassandra’s got Live Grind Rides Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 5:30 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday at noon, and Saturday at 10 a.m. It’s a pwyc scale and yes, there are playlists! Info HERE.
