Celebrating 20 Years of the SAT
A little trip down memory lane, for the last 20 years, since its inception, the SAT has hosted nearly one million people and nearly 9000 artists. It has become a highly appreciated and recognized venue in the urban cultural scene.
To celebrate its 20th birthday, the SAT (Société des Arts Technologiques) organized a big three-part party.
The SAT is known for its parties, exhibitions and Food Lab, and this Friday was no exception to the rule.
To celebrate 20 years of events, a BBQ was organized in the Food Lab from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. The menu was elaborate and quite summery, with dishes pleasing to both pork fans and vegetarians. It went well with the sunny afternoon and was enjoyable on the beautiful terrace on the third floor.
At 7 p.m., we enjoyed Entropia, the immersive performance, under the dome.
To satisfy all electronic music fans, and starting at 10 p.m. and running until the closing, the electronic party took place on two floors (under the dome and in the SAT Space). The music featured DJs and VJs such as Iron Galaxy, Poirier, Akufen, Eloi Brunelle, Thomas White, Dear Lola, Robert Robert, Jealous Lovers, Thomas Von Party and Vosper to name a few.
To give the crowd a nice souvenir from this event, a photo booth was installed and pictures were taken and printed for free for participants.
