Yesterday marked the end of the first weekend of Igloofest and it sure was a success! Taking over the Jacques-Cartier Quay in Montreal’s Old Port, thousands of people danced the night away under the snowy skies. At the Videotron Mobile Stage were Dear Lola, Thomas White, M.Bootyspoon and Project Pablo. Quebec’s own, Sam Vipond, kick-started the night with his “fancy bass” on the Sapporo Stage. Followed by The Gaslamp Killer with some swanky hip-hop tunes. Finishing off the night Flosstradamus’s, J2K and Autobot hit the stage with some heavy trap and even a few fresh new tracks. All in all, Igloofest really lived up to its name; and if this weekend is any indication of how the rest of Igloofest is going to be, this is going to be one heck of a year!
