The Avalanches Come Crashing In
It has been sixteen years since The Avalanches followed up their widely praised debut record Since I’ve Left You with their equally riveting and eclectic album Wildflower. Their latest record features an array of appearances, most notably from Danny Brown, Father John Misty, Toro y Moi, MF Doom and Biz Markie. Successfully mixing elements of hip hop and disco The Avalanches are back and are as bright and unified as ever before.
The Australian electronic collective have made appearances at nearly all of this year’s summer music festivals in celebration of their triumphant return. Now they are touring on their own playing a handful of shows in North America that will be supported by live instrumentation.
They’re stopping by Montréal on Saturday June 10th at the Corona Theatre just in time for the good summer vibes to kick into place. If you’re looking for a show this summer that you feel like having a guaranteed good time at then you should get your tickets immediately!
