What an incredible opportunity that I had. Fatigue will cling to me for a few days, but I don’t care. If I had to do this all over again, I would not hesitate. I got to hear new tunes and managed to discover a bunch of artists from different backgrounds. Warm thanks to Densil McFarlane, lead singer of The OBGMs — I knew I didn’t want to miss the Black Keys but I did not know who else to see that day, but McFarlane proposed a schedule for me at the end of our nice interview. What wonderful discoveries.
I will not pass over the great effort of the band Toro Y Moi in silence. The group on stage lacked force, but their songs were altogether energetic.
There would have been much more to see, but time was not in my favor. I spent much of my time in the media tent. Well equipped, the shows were broadcast live. There was a comfortable terrace and the press had access to the VIP area. Note that there were a lot of activities on the site: Perrier’s greenhouse, the H&M house, food trucks, relaxation areas and so on. All those little things that make the experience even more enjoyable.
Regardless of my musical preferences, I kept an open mind. Music is a magical thing. It brought together an incredible crowd for three days of intense festivities. Now, it’s the end of it all. It was a great experience. Here are some pictures of my last day at the festival. If you were there, I hope you had a fantastic time.
