TO DO Tonight: Elinor Frey Guided by Voices
Cellist and Montreal resident Elinor Frey is laying aside her usual instrument to pick up a five string cello, a violincello. Used most in the 17th and 18th centuries, it was the centre of Bach’s Sixth Solo Suite. Elinor Frey plays a complete program of work on this unusual instrument tonight, including a piece by Scott Edward Godin called Guided by Voices (2014).
