Gem of a gallery/art gallery, Monastiraki is hosting a book launch of Secret Life, the very first publication of independent publisher Quiet Spell. The book features a mash of writings, drawings, and photographs by a range of artists including Donna Akrey, EliSabeth Belliveau, Lucie Chan, Sarah Febbraro, Petur Mar Gunnarsson, Caroline Loncol Daigneault, Zoe Poulch, Coco Riot, Pablo Rodriguez, Eric Simon, Michael Toppings, Vlaentina Vella, and Jim Verburg. The book promises to be as eclectic and free spirited as the city it comes from — Montreal :)

Secret Life book launch takes place on April 8 at Monastiraki (5478 St. Laurent) at 5 p.m. Free.
