Seedy Saturday Sprouts in the West Island
This Saturday, the Pine Beach Citizens Association hosted the Seedy Saturday West Island.
Based on the popular Fête des Semences held at the Jardins Botanique for the past years, SeedyWest Island had free workshop about gardening and seedy workshops.
Held in a key moment such as beginning April to start the gardening season, many seed and local ecological companies were at the event to showcase their passions and products. A free seed exchange stand was also available to diversify your orchard.
Here are some highlights:
Easy cultivated kit for beginners to grow your own mushroom made of coffee beans. Four batches of mushroom can grow out of one bag, and it may be revived when potted around a tree so your tree may grow mushrooms as well!
Pots that you just plant straight into an earthy ground, as that cool comic wrapping paper is biodegradable.
Caribbean pot, end results from what you can do with your crops!
Workshop: growing great greens.
Seed exchangers! You take what you need, and please leave some seeds for others to use as well!
Tons of seeds to personalize your garden!
