The 11th edition of the Fête des vins du Québec was held at Complexe Desjardins from October 28 to 30, 2016 presented by the SAQ. More than 30 winegrowers were present to offer visitors a pleasant wine and gastronomic experience. The sommelier Jessica Harnois was the ambassador of Quebec wines. Cheeses from Amour et tradition were available to taste from over 20 cheesemakers.
Liza Frulla, executive director of the ITHQ was present with other guests: Quebec Finance Minister Carlos Leitão; President of Association des vignerons du Québec Yvan Quirion; President of Marketing and Merchandising of SAQ Jacques Farcy; and Vice-President of CAPS (Canadian Association of Professional Sommeliers) National and President of Quebec CAPS Romain Gruson.
There were tasting minutes animated by the sommelier Nadia Dufour where visitors could discover three Quebec wines paired with cheeses from here.
The SAQ and the Association des vignerons du Québec rewarded the best wines of the province.
