Montreal Electro Parade Coming in September
Electro Parade
Given Piknic Electronik and Igloofest and ileSoniq, MEG and Mutek and all the other electronic music events that grace the city, isn’t it time Montreal had its own Electro Parade? Apparently so. The very first Electro Parade will be taking place September 2.
Some of the performers in the parade have been announced: Claire, Clyde Netsky, Agoria, DJ Mini, Toddy Flores, Mistress Barbara, Paul Kalkbrenner, Rober Robert, Omni, Ryan Playground, Netski, and about 20 others. The performers will ride upon floats provided by some of the city’s top producers and music organizers like Techno Parade, Evenko, MEG, Elevation, Garorock, Bud LIght Living, Piknic Electronik, I Love NEON, Ancient Future Festival X La Bacchanale, and BeachClub.
The parade will go through the streets of Montreal around the Quartier des Spectacles. Overall, it is expected to run from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. at night on Sept 2. The event is free.
