Photojournal: Xavier Dolan’s Mommy Premiere Packed With Stars
Quebec director Xavier Dolan has had an incredible run of films, most recently with Tom à la Ferme. His latest, Mommy, took the jury prize at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival, an award he shared with no one less than Jean-Luc Godard. Mommy, a film about motherly love, has been well received for its depth and performances by Anne Dorval as the single mother of a troubled youth played by Antoine Olivier Pilon. The red carpet première in Montreal was attended by all, including producers, cast, and Xavier Dolan himself.
