RIP Robin Williams 1951 – 2014
An actor, a stand up comedian and an amazing person, Robin Williams was pronounced dead on August 11 2014. Known for his improvisational style, and roles in films like Good Will Hunting, Dead Poets Society and so many more, Robin Williams will no longer make you laugh till your stomach hurts.
Despite health problems like the shortness of breath he started experiencing in the 2008, and his clearly malfunctioning personal life, he continued with his stand-up comedy tour, Weapons of Self-Destruction. Instead of closing down on everyone he dealt with issues like any real comedian would, said screw it and just ran into the spotlight, and the audience loved it!

Robin Williams earned respect and admiration of millions by speaking his mind and being the funny, witty and sarcastic Robin Williams we all know. He always had a soft spot for Canada. “You are the kindest country in the world. You are like a really nice apartment over a meth lab,” he said in an interview with Reddit AMA.
Life is funny like that, one day he is here making us laugh and another he is no longer among us and will never make a new joke again. The battle with his inner demons ended for him at the age of 63. Robin Williams will forever remain in our hearts and represent our love for stand-up comedy. Let’s go back in time with his incredibly funny and at times painfully truthful call to a reality check and remember his name as one of those amazing men who made this world a little better.
