The 10th Edition of Happening Gourmand
Happening Gourmand celebrated its 10-year anniversary at Modavie where guests could sample appetizers and bites from the nine participating restaurants.
The month-long festival offers food lovers a chance to try a three-course menu at various Old Montreal restaurants until February 5, 2017. There are three different prices for the three-course menu: $23, $26 and $30.
Here are the participating restaurants: Bevo Bar + Pizzeria, Vieux-Port Steakhouse, Suite 701, Kyo Bar Japonais, Méchant Boeuf, Taverne Gaspar, Modavie Bistro, Maggie Oakes and Verses Restaurant.
As previous years, you can purchase tickets to the outdoor dance party of Igloofest at only $20 taxes included when you buy a meal. You can also receive discounts of 10% in the following hotels in Old Montreal: Le Place d’Armes Hôtel & Suites, Hôtel Nelligan, Le Petit Hôtel, Hôtel William Gray and Aubergeu du Vieux-Port.
This year, Happening Gourmand is partnering with Dans la Rue, an organization that helps homeless and at-risk youth by offering various programs and services. For every meal sold, one dollar will be donated to the charity.

Went to Modavie last night and ordered from the Happening Gourmand menu. Fantastic! It’s a wonderful bistro with great food, staff and atmosphere. GO!!!
