Tiernan’s Tomfoolery!

Tommy Tiernan of Carndonagh, which is at the Northern tip of Ireland was not lying when he named his show “Tomfoolery”.
With grand physical gestures and faces, Tiernan takes the audience for a very wild ride. We learn about his past and present and his thoughts on what is deemed to be offensive or not. At times it’s difficult to tell if it is fact or fiction as Tiernan’s stories are so out of ordinary you question the truth. With this in mind, he’ll go on to state, “And then that woman had my next three babies!”
Tiernan shows the audience the way that he uses past life trauma to bring light to life and just get through it. Although delivered in a very tongue in cheek fashion, the audience was able to fly through the uncomfortable topics in both a sympathetic but understanding way.
Particular things that we learn about Tiernan: he accepted to have a threesome but it required him to have eight pints of Heineken. Next: how he’s had not one, but two grand loves with whom he chose to have mini groups of children. Two batches of three.
After paving through the struggles of Ireland over the span of 800 years we travel with Tiernan as he talks about his tattoos and his current wife’s reaction to them. His show is the vocal form of reading somebody’s journal and he’s got nothing to hide.
