TO DO Tonight: Emma Frank CD Release

One of the most exciting local artists to hit the scene this year is Emma Frank with her band of Isis Giraldo, Marc Beland, and Simon Millerd. She’s releasing her new album, The People We’re Becoming at the ever-charming Resonance Cafe. Frank is a bit jazzy, a bit R&B, a bit folk. Ever cool Sam Shalabi and Anthony Seck (of Shalabi Effect) are opening up.

Emma Frank’s CD release takes place at Cafe Resonance on April 28 at 6 p.m. After that, you can catch her June 7 at the Segal Centre and June 27 at the Jazz Fest.
