East coast cause RAMONES
I would have been into the west coast scene, where the ska punk was born and later on would bring out bands like operation ivy, Rancid and lars frederiksen and the bastards
East coast man !!!
East coast had Ramones, Minor Threat, Black Flag and west coast had D.o.A, Rancid… torn! But Lars was born in the east! East coast for 1977 for sure ’cause the scene must’ve been prime, besides most of my other west favourites weren’t even out yet
West coast (X)!!!
East coast for sure. the NYC scene was the pinnacle of it
West coast is best coast! Punk in California in 77 was revolutionary!
