Twin Cities denizen Jeremy Messersmith writes autobiographical songs and crafts concept albums with a cheerful, friendly, poppy 60’s style. He’s gentle in the tradition of Death Cab for Cutie, but also grand in his ambition, touring with as large a band as he can muster complete with strings. His songs are infectious and memorable, including those on his newly released album Heart Murmurs. Andres Roget captured Messersmith and the very lovely Nashville-meets-dance-meets-folk of Tristen in concert at Divan Orange on Feb 10, 2014.
