The little brick Farnham church/masonic temple that once served the Arcade Fire as a recording studio has a new lease on life as the Emery Street Records studio. Now called Grand Lodge 24, in honour of its past life as a Masonic Temple, it has also been used as a cafe and live music venue. Emery Street records added a school bus to its capital in order to help transport folks out to the church. A sexy party with bands and burlesque welcomed the studio into its newest incarnation. Good luck!

Rampage sent out master photographer Michael Bakouch for a few hours to check this wild rumpus out.

About Michael Bakouch

I'm Michaël, a photographer focused on people in different places. The streets are my medium. So what is "street photography?" Street Photography is an art. It communicates the human condition in public places, within or without urban environments. The presence of the street is not necessary. Its people and or objects can be absent. The environment in which the image is projects the essence of human character. You will discover through my lens how I capture a city, its people and moments. A picture speaks a thousand words Its reality is untouchable, transparent and invisible to our fixed and restrictive fields of vision. (Michaël Bakouch) Contact: Website | More Posts
