Eye to I : City Walls
As I walk around the city I see no shortage of creativity in the many murals and extensive graffiti covering the walls of Montreal buildings and laneways where these distinct markings are prominently displayed. A metro-car sits high up on a downtown building. A portrait lies above garbage piled up in a laneway in NDG. A door covered by the initials of the many who have left their signatures. A wall with graffiti next to a Chinatown restaurant. Graffiti is very individual and inspiring. As I walk around to shoot I capture what I see stating bluntly the overlays of what is and who was there.
