A slightly more merciful weekend than last, Igloofest was a love fest in the Old Port. With free hugs abounding and lots of soulful, good vibes, people came in their Igloofest schwag, their furry onesies, and their warm winter gear to move n’groove. On the Videotron stage, Vancouver-ex-pat Nick Wisdom brought the house and funk, then the bass n’soul of Ekali. Da-P set the happy mood. Finally, Belgium’s Dave Luxe wowed all. Main Sapporo stage started with Enfants Malins (Amine Abbouz and Ghazi Gharbi), both from Tunisia and now Montreal. Frankfurt’s Robert Dietz showed the house what house can be. Finally, big ups to headliner Loco Dice who made the crowd go crazy.
