MTL Uncovered Finds Art, Music, and Food of the City
The first edition of MTL Uncovered was last Saturday and we were there in Théâtre Paradoxe.
The exhibition was a gathering of local artists including painters, photographers, jewelers, bands and musicians, all this while enjoying delicious bites and drinks. This first edition was refreshing as a unique happening allowing the artists to showcase their work and to network within their environment.
Upon our arrival, we could smell the cheese from Boîte à Fromages. As a cheese lover, I couldn’t be more pleased. The raclette was exquisite. The stands were well placed and organized to give everyone the chance to see the move freely and talk to artists. In addition to that, as promised on the main stage many artists performed, including Life on Land and DJs who were present to animate the night.
Moving within the church was a bit intense. A lot of people were discovering and meeting original work from local artists. Discussions were underway and you could have a drink at the bar in an artsy and nice atmosphere. All our senses were invited to the party and we couldn’t complain.
I could say this first edition was a success as it was well organized. Hopefully this will be only the beginning for MTL Uncovered.
